announces availability of
TapSmart™
HandShare™
software for Palm Powered™ handhelds.
IRVINE, CA.
April 16, 2004. For immediate release. MobilityWare announced today the release of TapSmart™ HandShare™, software that enables remote access to a Palm handheld from a Windows based system. Popular Palm OS 5 based handhelds supported include the PalmOne (Nasdaq: PLMO) Tungsten, Zire, and Treo 600 products, SONY (NYSE: SNE) CLIE products, and other specialized handhelds, such as the Garmin (Nasdaq:GRMN) IQ3600. HandShare provides new capabilities for the Palm community, such as remote support and collaboration, viewing the Palm handheld in real-time for live presentations and training, capturing screen images, and examining device data and settings for remote diagnostics. HandShare supports a network connection over Wireless, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dial-up modem, or USB. HandShare is the second product for the handheld market to be released by MobilityWare this year. The first was the TapSmart™ EZsync™ product released in March 2004.
