We are MobilityWare! Our mission is simple: we focus on creating fun and engaging experiences that unleash the gamer in everyone. We have an awesome culture of innovation, collaboration, and fun. Located in Irvine, California, we have won "Orange County's Best Places to Work" by both the OC Business Journal and OC Register for the past 2 years in a row.

Our top-ranked free-to-play casual card games, such as Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, Blackjack, FreeCell, and TriPeaks Solitaire, are consistently ranked at the top of their category on the iOS™, Android™ and Amazon™ mobile platforms. While we have been around since the dawn of the App Store, we are continuing to expand our successful portfolio with new games that delight our players.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Once upon a time, 25 years ago to be exact, Dave Yonamine and John Libby founded Upstanding, a communication software company that integrated mainframe computer systems. While the software was highly successful, innovation was in the company’s DNA and they knew they could pivot to the next frontier. So when the Apple App Store launched in July 2008 MobilityWare had a slew of games ready to go on Day One, including Blackjack and you guessed it, Solitaire! The rest is history!

MobilityWare flew us on an all-expenses-paid company trip to Hawaii for our 25th anniversary. Each of us (together with a plus one!) stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, situated by the pristine waters of Kohala Coast. We danced at a luau, snorkeled with sea turtles, and relaxed in the tropical paradise with our friends and co-workers. It was a trip of a lifetime. We’re still pinching ourselves! JOIN THE MAGIC

BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG IDEAS

Every year we hold a Game Jam to get everyone’s creative juices flowing. Game Jam is kicked off with a “Pitch Day”, a day when anybody at the company can pitch their game idea(s) to the rest of the studio. Engineers, artists, and designers set aside their usual projects and put all their focus on their Game Jam teams to produce a fun, working game by the end of the week.

GIVING BACK

We believe giving back is just as important as the work we do. We have quarterly charity efforts partnering with local charities to bring a little more happiness into the world. Whether it's running a 5K to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters OC, stuffing JoyJars for children battling pediatric cancer or adopting local less fortunate families for the holidays — we take pride in making our community a better place.
